24 Aug A Few Words About Habits From Our President, Jeff Russell
Today, I wanted to go in a slightly different direction and share with you this PDF – The 20 Bad Habits: Challenges in Interpersonal Communications.
This sheet has been part of my life for over a decade, and it’s been invaluable to my growth as a husband, dad, friend, professional, and human in general.
Here’s a bit more about how I use it:
In December, I sit down with the list and commit to what I will focus on in the upcoming year. If you don’t think that any of these apply to you, ask your partner, child, parents, or friends. I think what you will find is that there are a few that apply. If you don’t, I can’t help you.
Every year, I pick a few different ones to focus on. Even after 12 years, I haven’t eliminated all of these from my life, and I know it’s okay because developing and getting rid of habits is a lifelong journey. The most important part is recognizing what your habits are. And from there, committing to being more aware and actively working on change.
I know it’s only August, but you don’t have to wait until December to get this rolling. Start now.
And, of course, our team is here for you. Please reach out if we can be of assistance. We’re here to serve you.
Life is good! — Jeff
