Bio:

Over a decade ago, Terrica Banks began her journey into the mortgage industry and quickly found her niche in escrow.  With a spring in her step, she brought her depth of experience to American Trust Escrow.

“I studied Dance in college and travelled for a year with a dance company before settling into my career as an Escrow Officer,” commented Terrica.  “The rigorous regimen, constant training and attention to detail required of dance has served me well in escrow.”   Having worked at several escrow firms in the past, Terrica finds the team at American Trust Escrow highly supportive.  “It’s rare to find this level of professionalism in an independent escrow company.  Management provides regularly-scheduled meetings to keep us informed of new regulations and industry trends, plus we have a seasoned community of escrow experts on staff to use as a sounding board for troubleshooting complex transactions.  It’s the perfect combination of large company support and small family atmosphere.”

Terrica handles residential escrows including refinance, short sales and foreclosures.  She carries several escrow certifications and is a certified Notary Public.

Original founder and acting president of The Herman and Lorene Jacobs Foundation, Terrica spends time outside the office in this outreach program designed to provide art and fitness programs for families in at-risk, under-served communities.
